While this study is good, it will likely not effect the beliefs of religious people on the grounds that "sheep don't have souls". Despite the fact that so called "souls" cannot be measured or proven in any way, they insist that somehow only humans have them. Classic logical fallacy, make up something that can never be disproven and base all future arguments on that.

Yes, I agree Sergio. It is a good study that I can point to when talking about animal rights to my less enlightened friends (people always bring it up when they discover I'm Vegan).
