Powerlifter to give talk

A WORLD champion powerlifter will be the guest speaker at the Redditch
Vegetarian & Vegan Society's (RVV) next meeting tonight.
Pat Reeves is also a qualified nutritional therapist and has used
nutritional therapy to overcome cancer and now continues to excel at
her sport.
Kevin White of RVV said: "Pat is an inspiration. By following a very
strict diet, she has fought off cancer and achieved what many of us
could never dream of. Diagnosed more than 10 years ago, the cancer has
changed its form to a degenerative bone condition, which was
considered terminal several years ago.
