Animals anyway are not free, even at organic farms.

They may be treated better but "organically" raised animals are still killed - so how is that better?!

It is a (not well known by the ignorant masses) fact that dairy products are not healthy for humans. Go visit the PCRM or VRG for some real information on the subject. The bottom line is that cow's milk is designed for cows not people. I remember seeing one talk by a PCRM doctor, he likened dairy products to liquid meat. He said that they cause the same health problems as meat. My personal experience is the same. Out of everyone I know who made the transition from vegetarian to vegan, their health has always improved.

But where from people from poor countries should get supplement of B12?
Re: This doctor is an idiot! (Score: 1) by macsforever2001 on June 09,2001 | 14:33:07)
People in poor countries should be using organic farming. This way the B12 will get in their food via bacteria. The reason that farm animals have B-12 is that they eat grass, unclean food, etc. This food has the bacteria that makes B-12. So-called modern farming techniques with pesticides pretty much destroy the good bacteria. That's another reason to eat organic plant foods.
